Stonebarn Real Weddings: Rose & Toby

Rose & Toby Stonebarn Wedding

Rose and Toby married at Stonebarn on 23rd November 2024. Greta Wolzak depicts their relaxed, fun, rustic Stonebarn wedding in her photography below. Wild Feathers Creative also recorded their special day on video.

Rose and Toby discovered Stonebarn through family members and consequently booked our 5 night package. They stayed in the lodge with both sides of the families. This included their daughter, nieces and nephews, who were all under the age of 4. As a result the lodge was filled with excitement, fun and laughter.

They particularly loved that they were able to have the ceremony, reception and accommodation all in one location. It allowed them to soak up the time and enjoy the venue in its entirety.

They travelled down two days before the wedding and spent the time before their big day getting organised and set up. It was a huge bonus to have the extra time as it took away lots of stress on the actual day. They also enjoyed making the venue their own. For instance, they use the cellar to prepare all the floral displays.

As the ceremony did not commence until 3.30pm, Rose had ample time to get ready onsite in her luxury suite. The Pretty Parlour styled her hair and applied her makeup.

They held their ceremony at the Upper Clearing where they used Stonebarn’s 10 wooden benches free of charge, but used their own rustic arbour and flower arrangements.

Celebrant, The Love Empire, conducted the wedding ceremony.

After they were pronounced husband and wife, Greta Wolzak took the couple away from their guests to capture some beautiful shots of the couple at various locations on the estate with beautiful, natural backdrops.

Meanwhile, the guests returned to the lodge where the relaxed reception was set up on the verandah and grassed area with furniture hired from Little Miss Vintage.

Drinks were provided by The Little Bar Cart.

Subsequently, Peace Pizza catered and served delicious, hand-stretched, wood fired pizzas

In addition to this, family and friends used the fully equipped chef’s kitchen in the lodge to prepare food and complement the pizzas.

Furthermore, they even used our Stonebarn Truffle Butter for the canapés.

To sum up, Rose tells us “having the afternoon light shining over the dam and that turning into dancing under the stars with our nearest and dearest truly made the day so magical.”

Thank you so much Rose and Toby for letting us share your Stonebarn story. Congratulations on your marriage – may it be fulfilling, loving and everlasting.
