Lindsey and Slade held their small, intimate wedding at Stonebarn on Thursday 26th October 2023. They discovered Stonebarn on Instagram and made an appointment to visit in October 2022. They absolutely fell in love with Stonebarn. The couple loved its beauty and serenity, plus the fact it was DIY. Lindsey contacted us soon after their site visit to book their wedding. Victoria Baker Photography captured their wedding story in the beautiful photos below.
They booked our Stonebarn mid-week special and added an extra night so they were able to come down 2 days prior to the wedding. This gave them plenty of time to create their very own wedding vibe without any stress.
Their wedding ceremony wasn’t until 4pm so Lindsey was able to relax in her luxury ensuite room on the morning/early afternoon of her wedding while she had her makeup done by Jayne MUA.
Lindsey’s gorgeous wedding dress was from Tuscany Bridal.
While Lindsey got ready and had her makeup done, Slade donned his suit from Politix.
He also enjoyed a stiff drink with his family and friends to calm his nerves.
They held their ceremony at Stonebarn’s Upper Clearing and did a fantastic job of decorating the cermony location.
They were married by celebrant Emma Dickson.
Their wedding reception was held on Stonebarn verandah, overlooking the dam.
Here they had a three course meal catered by Gather.
Lindsey tells us that the intimate ceremony ‘was beautiful and we both had the most amazing time’. What was particularly special for them was having all their loved ones together in such a beautiful location.
In between the celebrations Victoria Baker Photography took some stunning photos of the couple at so many different locations around the 160 acre Stonebarn estate which was exclusively theirs for the three nights.
