Siobhan & Lieven married at Stonebarn on 6th April 2024 . Photographer Dennis Tan captured the special moments from their special day, as can be seen in the wedding story below.
After searching for ‘South West Wedding Venues’ on Google, they clicked on Stonebarn, contacted us and consequently arranged a site visit.

Soon after the visit they got in touch to book the venue. Above all, their decision to book was based on the following:
- The beautiful accommodation onsite for the bridal party, in addition to nearby accomodation available for the rest of the guests.
- The towering Karri trees and wrens.
- The sense of nature and isolation. There was no need to arrive and leave the wedding exactly on time, etc. since they had booked the whole place for the entire weekend.
- They could bring Pippin, their border collie, for the ceremony which was particularly important to them.
Siobhan and Lieven booked our 3 night weekend package: https://stonebarnweddings.com.au/packages-hire/ They travelled down on the Friday and arrived at Stonebarn around midday. They had a rehearsal dinner in Manjimup with the bridal party on the Friday night.
The ceremony took place on Saturday at 3pm, to make the most of the beautiful afternoon light. This gave them most of the day to get the place and themselves ready for their special day.
Their makeup was done by Vikki Aldridge, while drinking mimosas and watching wrens circle around the grounds.

Siobhan bought her dress from Tuscany Bridal and had alterations done by ILKA.

Honey Bunch Botanical created the beautiful bouquets of native Australian flowers for Siobhan and her bridesmaids.

They chose the Upper Clearing for their ceremony, overlooking the Karri forest. They used Stonebarn’s arbour, 10 wooden benches and a table and chairs for signing – all free of charge. Stonebarn also supplied cut logs which they positioned at the end of each row of benches to hold vases of beautiful native flowers. Honey Bunch Botanical also decorated the arbour with an attractive display of Australian natives.

Ebony Morrison was the celebrant who conducted the ceremony.

The reception was held on the verandah, where they installed a stunning long table setup running the length of the verandah, with Hive Caravan Bar parked up at the end of the verandah to serve drinks.

Supper Road catered the delicious food for the reception.

Given that there is no curfew at Stonebarn, accommodation onsite, and Warren Bus Service driving the rest of the guests home, the wedding guests used the dining room as their dance floor and partied into the night.

Siobhan tells us that ‘the entire weekend was absolutely gorgeous, from drinking mimosas while watching the wrens and having our makeup done, the beautiful ceremony, to playing badminton on the lawn with the wedding party on the following afternoon.’
What was particularly special for them was having all their favourite people in such a stunning forest location with beautiful wildlife and amazing food and good drink, for the whole weekend.

Congratulations Siobhan & Lieven! Thank you so much for choosing Stonebarn for your wedding. We hope Stonebarn will hold special memories for you both throughout your married life.
