Jayde & Lee held their small, intimate wedding at Stonebarn on 10th September 2024. Taylah Jayde Photo captured the special moments from their special day, featured below in their Stonebarn wedding story.
They found Stonebarn through the popular online wedding directory Wedshed, as a result of a Google search. When they were in the initial stages of planning their wedding they had decided they wanted to keep it small and intimate. Stonebarn lodge was a perfect choice for them as they were able to accommodate all 14 of their guests, as well as themselves, for two nights. This meant they could extend the festivities and make the celebration last longer.
They also loved having the choice, and exclusive use, of the multiple ceremony and reception spaces on the property, with no neighbours and no curfew. The beauty of the natural environment and the architecturally built stone lodge were also big factors in choosing Stonebarn.
Jayde and Lee booked our 2 night mid-week wedding package: https://stonebarnweddings.com.au/packages-hire/ They travelled down the day before the wedding and the girls and guys stayed in separate Airbnbs in Manjimup for the night. They arrived at Stonebarn early on the day of the wedding. As it was only a small wedding they didn’t have a huge amount of setup preparation to do. The ceremony wasn’t until 3pm, so they also had most of the day to get ready. Nayaa4U did Jayde’s makeup.

Jayde’s beautiful dress was from True Society.
They used our arbour and church pews all free of charge for their ceremony at the Upper Clearing. This was decorated simply but beautifully with flowers from Manjimup Florist. Marriage celebrant Renata Suckling conducted the ceremony.
The reception was held in the dining room, where they used the large dining table to seat all the guests and enjoy food by private chef Catered by Jacqueline.
Stand out moments for Jayde were being able to walk around the dam for some alone time, away from our guests, during the reception – celebrating being husband and wife and watching the sun set through the Karri trees.
The weather turned out amazing and everything ran smoothly. Jayde tells us “I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better.”
