Stonebarn Wedding: Bethan & Daniel

Bethan and Daniel tied the knot at Stonebarn on 18th February 2023. Their Stonebarn wedding is told below, accompanied by photos by Ingrid Kjelling Photography – who, according to Bethan, is an absolute master at making you feel comfortable. As you can see below, she definitely delivered on the photos they hoped for and so much more!

They found Stonebarn through a simple Google search and booked a site visit. They headed down south for the weekend with the intention of viewing a few venues around the South West. Stonebarn was the first on their list and from the moment they arrived the search was over. They both fell in love with the place, the old barn style looking building and the natural beauty surrounding the venue. After their viewing they emailed Stonebarn office immediately to lock in their dates and they didn’t view any other venues.

Bethan and Daniel booked our two night weekend package. They arrived Friday morning along with their bridal party to set up and enjoy a pizza party with their closest family and friends the night before their wedding.

The morning of the wedding Bethan could totally relax onsite knowing that Emma, of Events by Emma, was doing an amazing job of pulling together their vision. Bethan and her bridesmaids spent the morning being pampered by Allure Beauty & Co. The team had them looking better than they could have ever dreamed of.

The beautiful bouquets and flower arrangements on the arbour, created by Australind Floral Designs by Claire, also exceeded Bethan’s expectations. They held their ceremony at the Upper Clearing, where Bethan was walked down the aisle by not only her dad but also her godfather, John, from Scotland who was kitted out in a kilt.

The ceremony was conducted by celebrant Georgia Bearman of Marry Me Georgia B. Georgia did an excellent job and Bethan tells us she is absolutely the woman you want standing by your side at the ceremony.

The reception was spread out between the verandah and the grass.

The furniture at the ceremony and reception areas was supplied by Yallingup Event Hire. The arbour at the Upper Clearing was provided free of charge by Stonebarn.

Bethan tells us that the food was to die for, cooked by Catering 4 Fun. Sadly they have since wrapped up their business.

The cake was created by The CupCakery South West. Bethan only sent Sarah a photo of the cake she wanted and what she delivered was incredible and tasted devine. They also had Cake Flourish Co create a custom topper for their cake, as you can see below, it really was amazing.

Drinks were provided by Kombi Keg South West. Daryl and his team certainly delivered on the drinks and kept the drinks flowing all night.

They used the main dining area as their dance floor, where DJ Divergent Divas Entertainment made sure their guests danced all night long as there is no curfew at Stonebarn.

They used Warren Bus Service to pickup and return guests staying elsewhere. This meant guests could join in with the toasts and celebrations without worring about driving. Aaron and his team at Warren Bus Service went above and beyond to make all of the pickups work and they had so much patience with all of the bus shenanigans. Bethan and Daniel knew their guests were in safe hands, being driven in a 43 seater coach down the 3km unsealed track to Stonebarn.

When asked what their standout moments were, they told us how much they enjoyed their time spent at the river with just the bridal party, getting to just be stupid together and have fun with their photos.

Bethan tells us that her special day would not have been possible without all the vendors. “The whole team should be so proud of what they’ve created at Stonebarn, it really is a dream venue. We didn’t feel like we had to add anything because there’s just so much natural beauty. We also cannot stop talking about the absolute dream team of vendors we put together.”

“We felt so pampered and cared for all day/night. Every single one of them wasn’t a vendor. They were part of our crew. We were among friends and that’s the best you could ask for when looking for people to put your trust in for your big day.”

Congratulations Bethan and Daniel! Thank you so much for choosing Stonebarn for your wedding. We hope Stonebarn will hold special memories for you both throughout your married life.
